BIHR - HTMI 2nd GRADUATION CEREMONY 2018

Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail – a division of the Dadabai Holding, hosted its Second Graduation Ceremony under the Patronage of H.E. Jameel bin Mohamad Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Social Development, on 11thOctober 2018 for its students for the qualification Swiss Diploma in International Hotel & Tourism Management to recognize and appreciate their commitment to excellence at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, Bahrain.
The 30 graduates successfully completed 24 months of rigorous training in the hospitality sector conducted by BIHR through training in classrooms, simulated labs at BIHR campus and Internship. The event was attended by over 100 guests, distinguished guests, management and representatives from Ministry of Labour as well as top hospitality clients. All the graduates are employed at 5-star Hotels in the Kingdom of Bahrain with 1 student pursuing his Bachelor in Hospitality in Switzerland.
This has been the result of a partnership between the Former Specific Council for Training in Hospitality under Ministry of Labor & Social Development, Hotel & Tourism Management Institute (HTMi) Switzerland and Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail.
Mr. Ali Suleibeekh, Director of BIHR, speaking at the occasion said, “We are very fortunate to have had the endless support of Ministry of Labour & Social Development and Tamkeen in training our students. This is a joyous moment for all our graduates, their families, Ministry of Labour, Tamkeen, our industry partners and the entire BIHR team.”
Mr. Ian Larmour, Managing Director of HTMi Switzerlandshared the vision HTMi has in grooming young students into taking professional career paths sharing inspirational examples which has boosted the morale of the students.
In his speech, Mr. Humbert Vincent Buemi, Swiss Honorary Consul-General to Bahrain congratulated the students and encouraged them to pursue their passion for culinary and hospitality and encouraged the ties between the Swiss Confederation and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
